Seriously. Just look at the man. Coolest guy ever, yeah? But wait, there’s more. He’s worked with the most incredible musicians of our time. Of my parents’ time. Let’s discuss: LL Cool J, Beastie Boys, Run DMC, Slayer, Mick Jagger, Tom Petty, Johnny Cash, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Willie Nelson, Rage Against the Machine, Jay Z, Brandi Carlile, Pete Yorn, Avett Brothers, Kanye West, Poison, Shakira, Neil Diamond, Weezer, Kid Rock, Josh Groban, Adele. And that’s like 40%.
The stories this guy must have. He’s a totally chill kind of guy. In an interview with Anthony Kiedis (which you can find here) he talks about he recently got in touch with his inner self. Adopting an intense workout regime including surfing on a regular basis, this guy has got to be the coolest, chillest man to hang out with. (Do I sound completely hippie yet?)
I mean let’s be real. Who doesn’t want to be friends with a guy who has a beard like that?

Zooey Deschanel is everything I wish I could be. She sings as the “she” in the band “She & Him”. Check them out, they are great. She acts: perfectly adorable in every role she plays; I’d be happy being one of her characters. She has fantastic fashion sense: I plan to steal her entire wardrobe. Ever see that commercial for Cotton? Splendidity (yes, I did just make “splendid” a noun). Finally, she is married to the love of my life, Ben Gibbard. Not a very attractive man, but definitely one of my favorite musicians.
Zoeey, stop hogging up all the awesome and spread the love.

I’ve been on a huge Jeff Bridges kick lately. I just watched Crazy Heart and The Big Lebowski. Bridges plays two very different characters in these movies, yet I am strangely attracted to the man – good lookin’ old man if i do say so myself.
In the movie Crazy Heart, Jeff plays an old washed up country singer struggling to get through his daily routine. A heroic story of overcoming struggle, his character is someone to be admired. Plus, he has an incredibly awesome voice. The Big Lebowski Jeff Bridges plays a character known as “The Dude” – a total burn out slacker. Throughout the movie he wears jelly sandals (if you have no idea what I’m talking about, you didn’t grow up in the 90’s) – he wore them to set one day, the costume designer loved them for his character and he wore them the rest of the movie. That’s right, Jeff Bridges owns and wears Jellies.
Always humble during an interview with a great sense of humor – I’d love to hang out with this “dude” on a daily basis.
