Super Clip Sunday.. and then some

In honor of Halloween I give you the original horror film. For artistic purposes, I posted the longer cut of this scene.
Why this film is awesome:
Alfred Hitchcock makes you think Janet Leigh (blondie) seem like the lead character.. and then he kills her off.
This was the first American film ever to show a toilet flushing on screen.
There are two split second frames of the knife touching the body – these days you see 30 seconds of a kill weapon penetrating the body
Janet Leigh was not bothered by the filming of the famous shower scene, seeing it on film profoundly moved her. She later remarked that it made her realize how vulnerable a woman was in a shower. To the end of her life, she always took baths. (Amen, sister)
This was filmed in 30 days, of those 7 days were dedicated to the shower scene.
The scene is composed of 78 pieces of film (literal pieces of film, this is the “olden” days remember) for only 45 seconds of viewing.
