MTV Movie Awards

Words cannot describe how excited I get for these awards. It’s probably the most fun and entertaining movie award show out there; they are the high school superlatives of movies. Hysterical sketches, hot outfits (and hot men), and you can always expect at least one shocking twitosphere exploding moment.

So what does this award show entail? Jason Sudeikis hosting! And, well, lots of Joseph Gordon-Levitt that’s for sure! But for those of you who need more convincing than that here are the nominees:

Here’s my thought process. With this event, it’s up to the viewers – so you need to take into account two things: 1) Popularity – what movie was probably seen by the largest amount of people (take into account the trailer viewing as well) 2) Superfans – it’s difficult this time around because not only is Twilight involved, but so is Harry Potter. Which superfans will overcome?!? My votes are purely personal liking. I may have picked it for the actor (Jesse Eisenberg will always have my heart) or actress (Emma Stone, Ellen Page, and I should all become best friends) or because I simply enjoyed the movie (still pulling for The Social Network!)

There are TONS of celebrity guest stars, presenters and performances. You do not want to miss out! When you go to vote each nominee is accompanied by a short video clip showing the exact scene nominated or a small excerpt of the movie mentioned. You don’t need to sign up for anything to vote so do it!
